Hero Vida V1 Price:

The Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro e-scooters are priced at Rs 1,28,000 and Rs 1,39,000 (ex-showroom Delhi, including Fame II) respectively. Bookings have opened online, and at Vida Experience Centres for a token amount of Rs 2,499 and you can even buy the scooter through Flipkart now. Here’s how you can do it.

Hero Vida V1 Features:

The Hero Vida V1 features a 7-inch full-colour TFT touchscreen display, keyless access and switch cubes for toggling between functions. The electronics on the Vida V1 are IP65 rated. Riding modes include Eco, Ride, Sport and Custom. Features like turn-by-turn navigation, digital document storage, in-app customisation of performance and over-the-air software upgrades are also on offer.

Hero Vida V1 Battery And Motor:

Both scooters get IP67 rated battery packs. However, while the V1 Pro gets a 3.94kWh battery pack, the V1 Plus gets a smaller 3.44kWh unit. The result of which, the IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of the models are 165km and 143km respectively. The removable battery pack on the V1 has a fast-charging time of less than 65 minutes (zero to 80 per cent).

Speaking of performance, both variants feature an IP68-rated motor with a claimed top speed of 80kmph. That said, the V1 Pro is quicker at zero to 40kmph sprints with a claimed time of 3.2seconds. The V1 Plus thankfully isn’t too far behind, completing the nought to 40kmph run in 3.4seconds.

Hero Vida V1 Suspension And Brakes:

The Hero Vida V1 is built on an underbone frame linked to a telescopic fork and a single rear shock absorber. Braking is via a disc up front and a drum at the rear. The e-scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends. Up front, it gets a 90/90-section tyre whereas the rear comes with a 100/80 unit.

Hero Vida V1 Competitors:

The Vida V1 Pro rivals the Ather 450X, TVS iQube ST, Ola S1 Pro and the Bajaj Chetak. For around the same price, you can also go for TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Yamaha FZ25 or the Bajaj Pulsar N250.
